CVLT

Produced, directed, and performed in a four-hour immersive theatre and party experience in the historical Westerfeld Mansion. With triumvirate members Scott Gillies and Trevor Tarin, we led a cast and crew of 35 throughout 17 rooms of performance, along 4 separate plot lines that guests could follow to their conclusion (with myriad interacting subplots woven between).

Mk II MegaBot

A $2.5M, 10-ton, 16ft-tall combat mech designed to compete against the Japanese mech, Kuratas, for the entertainment of millions of fans internationally.

Challenge from Beyond

Gods and monsters compete for the mantel of the aging q̦̙͈̬͊͊͋ͭu̷̞̹̙͉e̪̼͖̺͑̃̂ḙ͇͕ͩn̰͖̞̩͔̬͛ͮd̬̙͕͊̏͛̓̀̇e̙̤͎ͫ̿i̴̤̱͕̖̹̮̪̅̄t͖͖͆̄̌̎̀̉͊y̯̤̌m̷̲̥̞̖͎͓ͅo̶͎͗t̠͓̞̫̗̥̏̄̐̀̍̌h͛̍ͦ̌͏̫̥̖e̶̼͔͎̪ͫ̇̆̋ͥr͈͚̺̲͛ͦ, thereby gaining demesne of the multiverse. Through a 13 puzzle + meta series of games, they learned that the q̦̙͈̬͊͊͋ͭu̷̞̹̙͉e̪̼͖̺͑̃̂ḙ͇͕ͩn̰͖̞̩͔̬͛ͮd̬̙͕͊̏͛̓̀̇e̙̤͎ͫ̿i̴̤̱͕̖̹̮̪̅̄t͖͖͆̄̌̎̀̉͊y̯̤̌m̷̲̥̞̖͎͓ͅo̶͎͗t̠͓̞̫̗̥̏̄̐̀̍̌h͛̍ͦ̌͏̫̥̖e̶̼͔͎̪ͫ̇̆̋ͥr͈͚̺̲͛ͦ was not retiring after all. Instead, every several millennia she devours lesser beings of power to recharge herself. Through a series of plot twists, it was revealed that in order to save both themselves and the multiverse, they would have to devour the mortal projection of the q̦̙͈̬͊͊͋ͭu̷̞̹̙͉e̪̼͖̺͑̃̂ḙ͇͕ͩn̰͖̞̩͔̬͛ͮd̬̙͕͊̏͛̓̀̇e̙̤͎ͫ̿i̴̤̱͕̖̹̮̪̅̄t͖͖͆̄̌̎̀̉͊y̯̤̌m̷̲̥̞̖͎͓ͅo̶͎͗t̠͓̞̫̗̥̏̄̐̀̍̌h͛̍ͦ̌͏̫̥̖e̶̼͔͎̪ͫ̇̆̋ͥr͈͚̺̲͛ͦ, which was secretly cake. Dancing ensued.

Bloodlines 2 Activation

An international collaboration between Paradox Entertainment, Alice & Smith, and Epic Immersive created the live finale to a three-month Alternative Reality Game promoting an upcoming horror videogame. 2-4 players at a time (out of the hundreds on site and tens of thousands following online) were brought into a psychologically charged environment where their senses of time and memory were distorted before they were released back into the wider game.

HiNGE

A theatre-circus-game featuring an original score that, along with the performers, could be affected by audience participation, changing the course of the narrative.

Ardent Mobile Cloud Platform

A ‘revolutionary new cloud platform’ to lift passengers up to 45ft in the air. Rated for up to five riders, it was also capable of rigging live performers in our unique Aerial Performance Interface (API), in addition to carrying a full water tank. The last was used for our Trusted Precipitation Module (TPM), which allowed us to rain on people’s parades as required. Displayed at the California Academy of Arts and Sciences, Dreamforce, and more.
